A rebuilding night

Once again this weekend, I went to the casino for a few hours to play some poker and hang out with friends. Thursday night I drove over for about three hours and lost $160 very quickly, but won it all back and walked away $50 ahead, but not from poker. I played roulette for the very first time and walked away from the table with $250. Friday night I went back up and won $100 at poker and $20 at roulette. Saturday night I went with a couple of friends who only wanted to stay for about an hour, so I decided not to play poker because I knew the list would be too long and I’d never even get to play, so I played roulette. I couldn’t hit a damn thing, I was down $220. I knew I had to play poker for a little while on Sunday and try to win some of that $220 back, so I went and tried my luck, but blew around $150 before I even made it to the poker table.
I bought in for $60, but I never had that built up very big, so in about and an hour or so, that was gone and I went to the ATM for another $60. That was one of the best decisions of my life. I was at the casino for quite awhile, but I managed to walk away from the table at around 10:30 with $417. I just about won back everything I had invested in the last two days, breaking even. One asian lady sat down at my table with $100, and said she had never played in the casino, so she didn’t know about the blinds and that stuff, so I thought to myself “I wonder how long that $100 will last her?” I was right, it didn’t last longer than one hour before her friend went and brought her back a second hundred. Before her departure I realized I had taken about half of her money myself. There were at least two pots I can remember, where it seemed like she just wanted to give her money away.
She would call in early position, then call my raise from late position, check the flop and call my bet. The turn would come and she would bet, and I would raise followed by her call. She would check the river and fold to my river bet. She would do that to just about any person who she was playing in a pot. I don’t know if she won one pot the whole time she was playing.
All-in-all it was a pretty good weekend, didn’t end up losing any money and played quite a bit of poker, so I had fun.
