Going to Vegas!

Posted on December 2, 2005

I’ll be arriving in Las Vegas on Friday January 13th at 11:34 pm and leaving on Saturday the 14th at 6:35 am. I’ve had a one hour layover in Vegas before, but I’m looking forward to this one. It’ll be my first real time in the Sin City even if it’s only for 7 hours. Dave and I will be coming back from MacWorld in San Francisco and he rigged our flights for a long layover (which was actually cheaper). We’ll be running off the plane for the nearest taxi. Which casino should we hit up for some low limit hold’em? We’ll most likely have 4-5 hours to work with.

[...] On the flight home we have a 7 hour stay in Las Vegas which should give us 4-5 hours to play some poker on the strip. It’ll be my first time in Sin City, so I’m pretty excited.   Related Posts Off To Sunny San DiegoWhich City is Your City?San Diego By NumbersSunday Morning TreatI’m Back! [...]

i dont recommend low limit in Vegas, you’ll get too many river suck outs by the other tourists,
go to the WYNN and play no limit 5/10
or Binions and play thier no limit 4/8

Either one is great, Binions because of the history, and the Wynn & Bellagio offer a nice poker room, that isnt dropped right in the middle of the slots, as an afterthought, so you can actually think.
Wynn has a nice Ferrari dealership just down the hall from the poker room, you gotta see it, but Bellagio is a little closer to the airport, and Binions is down on Freemont, away from the other two.
Either way you cant go wrong - unless you play limit.
    Good Luck & be safe!

I wish I could afford to play no-limit at those stakes.
